BBC visited in Finland to see our elderly gymnastics

Ms Rachael Kiddey of the BBC visited in Jyväskylä to make news about elderly gymnastics. She was amazed to see elderly people to start apparatus gymnastics.Read the article: here

The gymnasts are from 65 to 77 years old and they were beginners as gymnasts.See the video

Some of our videos are published by the project: Joint Actions call for action of the European Commission with the name "Sports and Physical Activity for Persons with Disabilities - Awareness, Understanding and Action". School Gymnasium of Kivelä, Keuruu, Finland

Here you see an example of a small school gymnasium with an attractive operational environment. Most of the equipment is owned by the gymnastics club Keurusjumppa.

This school and club work together for the sake of the children. In this school there are about 150 - 170 pupils and more than 1500 people do gymnastics there each year, both adults and children alike. Students of the University of Jyvskylä and other institutes visit there for their studies.
